Holiday Extraviganza

The annual Holiday Extravaganza has once again come and gone. My sister queens and I started off the day with leading dance performances for the Waseca princesses and taking pictures with Santa Clause. Then we served food and sang carols and of course we couldn't help doing a little shopping. Later in the afternoon, we slipped away to take some fun Christmas photos. Thank you to all the vendors who participated in our event and Merry Christmas!

Holiday Train

Christmas is hands down my favorite holiday, so visiting the CP Holiday Train this evening was definitely a must. My sister queen Megan and I were looking for an opportunity to help out with taking food donations, but unfortunately (or fortunately for that matter), they had an abundance of volunteers, so we opted for walking around visiting with Waseca community members and taking pictures with quite a few little girls. We also met a little boy who dressed up as the holiday train, so technically we had the pleasure of seeing two holiday trains in one night. I'm loving being back in the wonderful community of Waseca and getting to know my new, beautiful sister queens.

Miss Mankato Pageant

Megan and I attended the Miss Mankato Pageant together tonight to support Lauren Fellows, a past Miss South Central and my first ever sister queen. Mankato is always a fun pageant to attend simply because their program goes all out when it comes to opening number! It was so strange watching Lauren give up a title that wasn't Miss South Central. It feels like just yesterday we were volunteering at bingo nights every Friday and staying after just so we could participate in karaoke. I'm so thankful to the Miss America System for their sister program. Because of it, I've made incredible friendships that will last me a lifetime.
